Cousins

Jared came for the day on Monday.  He and Irelyn had a blast playing together once Jared finally got warmed up and used to being at our house.  Here are some pictures of them playing together.

Watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

riding the horse and car around in circles

BIG HUGS ~ Irelyn was a little more aggressive with the hugs than Jared liked.

I got you Jared

he finally got away from Irelyn and was eating a snack

riding the car again

I had to add this one and the next one these are two her new things the first is her "attitude" pose she does this after she does something she is not supposed to.

This is her saying cheese.  Can you tell she gets her picture taken alot.

Work in Progress

I was playing with the blog tonight and the title/header is still a work in progress.  I'm still trying to figure out how to get a picture on it, but I am giving up for tonight because Irelyn has decided that she really needs mommy and daddy isn't cutting it anymore.

Superbowl Fun

We stayed home this year and watched the Superbowl and ate lots and lots of food.  Here are some pictures I took.

I think she was calling the Colts to give them some pointers.

Let the feast begin!

Yummy goodness Sweet Chicken Bacon Wraps
these things are awesome.  They should be
against the law.

This one came off of one of our sidewalk lights
she carved it alittle so it would look like the moon.

Allyssa and Irelyn didn't come outside to play.  Irelyn isn't a big fan of the cold and Allyssa volunteered to stay inside and watch her.

Updates

Well the last of the decorations are finally put away and we are headed full steam into the second part of the school year.  Soccer and baseball signups are going on right now so we have those two things to look forward to in the near future.  The kids are doing great in school Allyssa made the A/B honor roll, Taylor made the all A honor roll and Jacelyn got all A's and and S's on her report card.  Here are some things Irelyn is doing:

*puts on a backpack or grabs her purse and waves and says see you later (at least thats what it sounds like) and then goes to the garage door.
*says there it is when you ask her to find something
*loves to beat up on bubby then love on him
*has decided she only wants pop tarts in the morning because that is what sissy eats
*dances anytime she hears music
*climbs on anything and everything she can
*still refuses to say momma
*has started signing more and milk we are working on a few others but she won't do them yet
*if she is really tired she will go to the stairs and yell until someone opens the gate then she heads to her room and waits by her crib.  She cries for a minute when she relizes she is being left but then falls right to sleep
*usually falls asleep on the couch during Playhouse Disney then I take her up for her nap
There is lots of other stuff but that is all I can think of right now.

I have been a slacker with the camera lately so no new pictures this time.

Just Pictures of Irelyn

Playing on the horse Grandpa and Debbie got her

side view

She fell asleep watching Sesame Street.  I guess she got tired of waiting for me to take her upstairs for her nap.

Trying on Sissy's vest I think it's just alittle big.

She wanted the empty paper towel roll when I was changing it out.  So now she is getting ready to hit daddy with it.

Now she is coming after me.  We have no idea where she learned this she just stuck it on her hand and starting going after everyone.

loving on Daddy after beating him up.

Christmas Craziness and updates

We celebrated the last Christmas with my mom, stepdad, sister, and brother in law New Years weekend so now things are finally getting back to normal.  Most of the decorations are down I just need Russell to bring the big ladder in so that I can get the rest of the decorations from the top of the tree then get it down and everything carried down to the basement.  The kids got a ton of stuff and I'm still trying to figure out where to put it all and make room in drawers for the new clothes.

I think christmas was a bit of an overload for Irelyn by the time things were winding down she was pretty cranky and just worn out.  She is not used to the other kids being home all day and she is one that needs her naps (mommy really needs her to take a good nap too .)  Now that Allyssa, Taylor and Jacelyn are back to school I can already see a big difference in her.  I can't believe how fast she is growing up.  She does something new everyday it seems like.  She still is not really talking but I'm working on that.  She only says dada, oh there it is and she signs a few things.  Notice momma isn't in there yeah she doesn't say momma.

Allyssa is getting ready to try out for the Seussical at school she is really excited she was in the intermediate school's production of Alice in Wonderland Jr. last year and she loved it.  It will be a big change if she makes it in the Seussical she will have practice everyday from 3-5 and a couple of Saturdays.  We also had to sign something saying that we would try to change any appt. and not schedule anything new so as not to interfere with practice.  I personally think it is a little much for middle school but we will see.

Taylor is still practicing for G2K Oklahoma at school and I think he is really liking it.  I went to help with some crafts the other night and the costumes are pretty neat.  I was making mourning veils for one of the scenes.  I was talking to the lady that comes up with all the good ideas for costumes and sets and telling her which shild was mine, and she said ohh yeah the one with the killer eyes and eyelashes.  I guess I'm not the only one that thinks he will be a lady killer (I may be a little biased).

Jacelyn is not up to much right now.  I just got her signed up for spring soccer.  She is loving school and her teacher and is doing well in everything.

Here are some pictures from various christmas get togethers.

My dad put up my christmas gift he got me last year.  There is a light under each cabinet and over my computer at my desk.
