Spring Break

It has been awhile.  We went to Georgia for Spring Break this year to visit my dad and Debbie.  We had a lot of fun and stayed busy everyday.  We got there late Friday night and on Saturday we went to the UGA campus and walked around, Sunday we went to church then came home and we met Debbie's family we had a cookout and the kids hunted easter eggs.  Monday we went shopping and to a place called Funopolis it is a place with arcade games, go carts, bouncy things, mini golf and a ton more stuff.  Tuesday we went to a park and hiked a little then the kids walked around in the river a little.  We decided that it was too slippery and the water was moving to fast so that didn't last long.  Wednesday we went to a place called Yellow River Game Ranch.  It is a place that has a bunch of animals that have been rescued and they will walk right up to you and eat out of your hand the kids loved it.  We also went to Stone Mountain I hadn't been there since I was in middle school.  It is really neat they have a ropes course now that Russell and the kids did, we rode the sky tram up to the top of the mountain, and rode a train around the mountain.  They have a really neat laser/fireworks show every night and last week was the first week for it.  Thursday was Jacelyn's 8th birthday so she got to choose what we did.  Since it was raining she decided that we would go see How to Train Your Dragon in 3D.  It was a cute movie.  Friday we went to Tallulah Gorge State Park.  It is a really beautiful place there are several water falls.  We walked a total of about 700 stairs it was tiring but so worth it for the views.  Saturday we started home Russell decided to take the senic route so that we could stop at a rafting outpost (not to raft but to get some information.)  There was a rock slide on the highway so we had to take a detour which caused Jacelyn and Irelyn to get car sick I have never been so happy to see an Interstate in my life I was so ready to get off that twisty curvy road.  Luckily we took 75 all the way to 74 instead of 65 so we didn't get stuck in any of the spring break traffic.  Okay get ready for picture overload I'm going to try to narrow it down some but we got tons of great pictures.

Jacelyn took this picture too.  She warned us that Debbie was a little cut off.
